Brimotech Solutions BV is a leading supplier of high-quality gas springs, hydraulic dampers, and end fittings, with a strong focus on stainless steel 316 and steel products. Since our establishment on 1 January 2011, we have established ourselves as a reliable partner for various sectors, including yacht building, food processing industry, bicycle parking systems and awning systems.

Our history and partnerships

Brimotech began as an engineering firm specialising in mechanics, with the motto: ‘Anything that can or should be able to move.’ From this expertise, a strategic partnership was formed with Vapsint s.r.l., one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of gas springs and dampers in steel and 316 stainless steel. This partnership has enabled us to expand our range and become a European registered brand, with representation in several European countries. Our production takes place exclusively at Vapsint in northern Italy, while our engineering is based in both the Netherlands and Italy, all to the strictest quality standards, including ISO9001.

The team behind Brimotech

Michiel Brokkaar is the driving force behind Brimotech. From an attic room, he initially focused on engineering mechanical systems in the broadest sense of the word. Brokkaar: ‘I had long been toying with the idea of becoming an entrepreneur.’ ‘In 2010, I took the plunge and decided to start an engineering company to improve and develop mechanical systems for clients.’

Brokkaar clearly remembers that it was an exciting move because the economy was in the midst of a financial crisis at the time. ‘I had cleared a budget to start and I had to do it with that,’ he says. Starting my own business in the crisis was challenging, but I also knew that if I survived, the future would look bright. ‘And it shows because we are now many years down the line.’

As owner and founder, he has realised a vision in which innovation and customer focus are central. With more than two decades of industry experience, he combines technical expertise with strategic insight to lead Brimotech to new heights. Michiel focuses particularly on all technical issues and is the link with Engineering in Italy.

Henk van de Wal, our senior sales manager, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge. With his in-depth understanding of the market and his ability to build long-term customer relationships, Henk plays a crucial role in the success of our sales department. His commitment to customer satisfaction makes him an indispensable member of our team. Because of his perfect German speech, he is our link to the German market.

Bradley Versteijne is our newest and a dynamic talent within Brimotech’s sales department. Due to his bilingual upbringing, he particularly supports Dutch and English-speaking customers. Bradley has a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on customer needs, making him a valuable addition to our team.

Renate van der Hout is responsible for marketing and communications at Brimotech. With her strategic approach and extensive experience, Renate ensures that our brand message is conveyed clearly and effectively. Her commitment to strengthening Brimotech’s visibility and reputation in the market plays a vital role in our success. Thanks to her expertise in B2B marketing and communications, Brimotech reaches the right target groups and we are able to continue our growth.
